Homecoming 2008

Homecoming 2008 started with prayer... isn't that neat! When I got to the peprally, this is what I saw....

Of course, the highlight of this week's peprally was the pies! The varsity cheerleaders were not supposed to speak a single word on Friday.... if they did, whoever caught them, got to pie them!

My daughter made it much longer than most.... BUT ONLY because she doesn't have to even get to school until 9:48!

I think she's hoping I can save her in some way.... but I wouldn't miss this for the world!

Unfortunately, she had to endure simultaneous shots because she talks twice as much!

....AND THE CROWD GOES WILD!

Whipped cream in the sunshine... what a disasterous mess!

Two of our biggest fans, wouldn't miss the game for the world.... Nana and Papaw arrive early to get the best seats, as always!

Our baby's last homecoming.... but no tears here....

She even took time to pose with her 'ol mama!

Where's little sister? She's busy hanging out with her crew....

.....and hiding from the camera!

A nice start for a not so good game.....

Despite my brother-in-law's best efforts in the concession stand, the smoke still had no effect on the opposing team..... we took a loss to Rogers on the heels of our great win over East Limestone.

Queen this year was announced and we were so proud for our friend! (She's the third one from the left in this shot I got just before half-time of a few of the girls in the homecoming court.)
