Brothers, we do not want you to be ignorant about those who fall asleep, or to grieve like the rest of men, who have no hope. We believe that Jesus died and rose again and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him. 1 Thessalonians 4:13-14
Little can comfort us when a loved one passes... early Christmas evening, one of our oldest daughter's friends experienced tremendous loss... his father passed away. Our hearts and prayers are going up to this family as they grieve their loss.. and prayers for peace in knowing something good will come from this experience....
And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28
