Senior Portraits.... My baby's growing up....

Well.... I had to update some pictures as directed by the "senior" so this post is back up at the top!
I cannot believe my (first) baby is a senior! We spent the afternoon yesterday at all the best spots for some "urban contemporary" nature shots. Me, the proud mama, had to follow after the professional (my baby's BF's mother) and snap a shot or two to commemorate this special occasion! Of course, my shots aren't near the quality that we'll see when we go through the 500+ shots that Kelley of Photopaintings by Kelley was able to capture and will be putting to canvas! I'll be sure to carry around a few to show off to anybody and everybody that will look!

No photo shoot would be complete without a cameo appearance of a very special young fellow, who happens to have a very hip and cool photographer Mom!

Of course, it just wouldn't be the same without a little clowning around, and we managed lots of that!

Never a serious moment with this one!

A huge thanks to Kelley for a wonderful shoot and bringing out the best in all her subjects!

On a more serious note, there's a precious family that needs our prayers right now. During our shoot, Mrs. Kelley received a call about a dear family friend who is on her way to St. Jude's in Memphis today..... Sweet Lily.... you can see updates HERE.

Thanks for the prayers for Lily. Yes, I'm the same girl from 7Mile! Funny about the hair!
