"Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God's grace in its various forms." 1 Peter 4:10
This blesses my heart! You know when sometimes you don't think you do alot that matters and then you get a sweet note from a stranger... this is one of those times. I'm so glad I have a hobby that brings happiness to not only myself, but many others; the Lord has truly blessed me!
Here's what I had waiting for me in my email from my free embroidery design website today:
Dear Embroidery RN,
I'm writing to thank you for having your designs up for all to use. I just wanted to show you how useful these designs have been for me.I make these I Spy Bags for my sister who has a library in her home that she opens to homeschool children, neighborhood children, relatives, school children, etc. She has thousands and thousands of books collected from garage sales and other sources over my mother's lifetime and part of her own.I send her these bags as incentives to encourage the children to read. She uses them as awards for the one who has read the most books over a given period of time. These are only a few of the bags I have made from your designs. I'm going to use many, many more. I use the appliques as reverse appliques. Your designs are especially useful for you often have both the borders and the appliques on a given subject. But when not, I can often locate other appliques to use with your borders and frames.Again, thank-you. You never know how much good you do in allowing others to use your designs to serve others in return.
May God bless you for your generosity.

Aren't those the cutest projects, and isn't she just a precious soul to share of her talents like she does! Thought I'd share with you what I sent back to her:
Dear Therese,
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR BLESSING MY HEART TODAY! What a blessing to know that I have a small part in your special giving! In today's world, there's so much negativity, but not in this little corner of cyberworld! I do give all the praise to our Heavenly Father who gave me my talents (talents that I love, by the way!) to share with everyone. I know many lives are touched by the kindness and generosity of others, like you, that give of yourself unselfishly. You and your sister must be some really special folks that have touched more lives than you'll ever know. Again, thank you for doing what you do, and may we all be a part of touching lives, one little stitch at a time!
Hope this helps restore some faith in humanity, and some faith in how even the little things can reach farther than you realize.... I am blessed..
