"NO MOM.... DON'T YOU DARE!"
Those were the last words the Kaitlynn said when I asked for the 50th time if I could come and take pictures at her first day of college.... I then vowed to her that I would get some pics, but I would be camouflaged... no need to worry, she'd never see me....
So.... I couldn't resist.... and started the texting around 10 a.m.:
Me: "Oh, I got some great pics, and you didn't even see me! I cut my leg pretty bad in the bushes, they had to help me out, and I think I might need stitches, but I got some good pics!"
Kaitlynn: "LIAR" (followed by....)
Kaitlynn: "What was I wearing?" (I then quickly text'd her roommate, Paige, and asked her what Kaitlynn was wearing and responded with...)
Me: "I'm at the doctor right now, gonna need stitches... but you were wearing a transformers T-shirt and shorts..."
Kaitlynn: "Mother, you are awful... you need more help than just stitches!"
Me: "Call me later, he's working on my leg right now...."
I let her stew for a little while, allowing her to replay scenes of her mother falling out of some bushes, having to have help by UNA staff, etc..... then I 'fessed up.... BUT OH, what fun I had for a little while!
