Tiny Baby.....Miracles Do Happen!

Psalm 77:14.... You are the God who performs miracles; you display your power among the peoples.

Today I visited a very special young lady. She's just a special wonder that can only be described as a true Miracle from the Lord. She recently had a birthday and it's been way too long since I've seen her! Wow, was I blessed! Or should I say, "Wow, is she blessed!" Her mom has been afforded the opportunity to spend many hours with her at home that she would have been unable to do had everything "went as planned." But we know that in His own way, He choreographs every single step in this dance called life.... and this little one is just radiant!

Of course, before she tired of impressing me, she showed me her NOSE...

and her EARS....

and even how she turns on her piano.....

so she can dance a jig!

The child is a hoot! She's funny, way too smart for her age, and most of all, a precious little gift from above.

Days like today remind me how much I love my job. Of course, I'm not actually at work, so it's easier to be soooo thankful..... Being able to care for these little ones and their families is a blessing many folks aren't able to experience.....

I'm soooo thankful I was afforded the opportunity to share in a tiny part in the lives of this very special family.

Tiny Baby, Tiny Feet

Tiny baby with tiny feet.... this special little one turns 2 on August 9th!

You know when you can't possibly ever repay someone for the all they've done for you? Well, on occasion, you get to give a little back.... that's exactly what I was able to do just two short years ago.... give a tiny bit back to a family that means so much to me. My OB/GYN has been through many ups and downs with me, never failing to have a positive outlook even when the outlook was grim. Never did he fail to remind me that God was in control, even though he was often left as the ultimate bearer of bad news. Even after a couple of surgeries, couple of ectopic pregnancies, and several miscarriages, he continued to remain optimistic and full of hope for my family and I...... and almost 12 years ago, he introduced our youngest daughter to this big bright world.

Then, two short years ago, I was blessed with the opportunity to be able to help take care of his first grandbaby. I didn't do much, just what I knew how to do, but I was able to share love to that little one while her family wasn't able to be there. She's doing great, by the grace of God, with many, many answered prayers on this little one's behalf. Truly, God is in control and He does know the plans He has for us.... we've just got to have the faith, and patience to wait on them to unfold....

....blossoming from a tiny baby with tiny little feet, into a precious little girl with a smile so sweet!
