Mom's blood sugar was up yesterday, requiring additional insulin twice.... But, praise the Lord, it's down this morning, hopefully this will be a great day for her! She's getting stronger every day, but when her blood sugar goes up , it just wipes her out... Counting down the minutes, she should be coming home next Monday, CAN'T WAIT! We're so ready for some R&R at home with no interruptions! The only things getting to relax around us now are.....
"Baby" the nursing home resident cat.....
....she/he decided to take a long nap in my lap Sunday night.... Yes, she comes in and goes out as she pleases at the nursing home where mom is at rehab.... I'm not joking....
.... and Milo held down the couch yesterday protecting his fearless leader during a nasty stomach bug....
.... and Chloe, who will NOT get out of bed before 10! She would have stayed in bed the entire day on Sunday while the ground was covered with snow if we didn't force her to get up and out!
On a funny note, my middle sister is terrified of cats.... she's not seen "Baby" yet... thinking a catnip toy attached to the cot in Mom's room might be on the list of things to do before I have to report to my real job this weekend....

Glad our little chickens got home safe on Saturday! Love this teamwork!
Our dogs weren't crazy about the snow. I think it had to do with the fact that we expected them to walk around in it and do their business. I wouldn't want to do it either!
